A common ritual is to bury or hide the “Alleluia” on this day. During Lent, the word Alleluia is not said or sung again until Easter. Write the word Alleluia on several sheets of paper and decorate them. Place them in a box or hide them different places until Easter. Before hiding the Alleluias, pray: Dear Lord, as we bury the Alleluias, help us to prepare our hearts and minds to focus on Jesus’ journey to the cross. Amen. Seventh Sunday After Epiphany
