We grow in faith by teaching and learning the story of our faith together, building relationships, connecting to our community, serving others, and inviting people in to grow together in God's love. Zion is here to partner with you to encourage the spiritual growth of your child(ren).​

​Worship at Zion
  • There is a "Prayground" area reserved for families of little ones in the back of the worship space. Swings, bouncers, little tables & chairs, and a padded rug area are all set to support your little one's wiggles and sense of exploration.
  • This space and toys used are cleaned weekly and child size masks, hand sanitizer & wipes (all child friendly) are available in this space..
  • A gender neutral bathroom with a spacious changing table area is found on the same floor- just down the hall from main worship space. Ushers/Greeters are also available to assist in watching your other little ones if you need to step out to use the changing area. There is also a changing table in the nursery on the lower level. Extra diapers and wipes can be found there.
  • Two toddler friendly playrooms are available downstairs from the worship area. These rooms are not currently staffed. 
  • For nursing moms, the Nursery can become a quiet space to feed your child. There is a comfortable glider and signage to indicate the room is occupied to provide you with privacy. 
  • If your family prefers to sit in a pew during worship, Tool Kits are available to support your children in worship.

Prepare for @Home Worship
Prepare a space that is most comfortable for you.
  • Inside, Outside, In Your Car
  • At a table or on the floor
Enjoy your favorite drink, or have a bowl of apple slices or snacks on hand!
Worshipping at home gives you the opportunity to sit in your favorite chair or wrap up with your favorite blanket as you center yourself to learn and respond to God’s Word.

Create an Altar Space @Home
  • Purple is the color for Lent..........Find a scrap piece of purple cloth, a cloth napkin/towel, or even a piece of paper and place it in the middle of your kitchen table or coffee table.
  • Add a small bowl with water........This is a reminder of our baptism.
  • ​Add a small cross to the space........This could be a cross from your wall, a necklace charm, or one made from paper or scrap wood.

Create a Worship ...on the Go... Box for your Vehicle
The basic box and supplies cost around $5 to make and includes:
  • Regular pencil case
  • Wooden cross
  • Ribbons in liturgical colors (used over the wooden cross)
    • Green is the color of the current season of Pentecost
  • Battery operated candle
  • A Faith5 Bookmark with devotion prompts to:
    1. Share
    2. Read
    3. Talk
    4. Pray
    5. Bless
